These are photos from Alex's 6th Birthday Party. We had it at a place called Pump It Up which has these inflatable play structures. The first photo shows the fabulous cake Mommy made. This year's theme was Larry Boy (per Alex's request).

Two little people are soooo excited to get to the party place. For once they were in the car ready to go well before the adults! Below Alex and "t-ball Henry" climb up one of the structures.

Pile Up at the bottom!

The T-ball team photo. Their sponsor is a truck stop called Jubitz. What a team! Go Jubitz!

Teeing up for the big swing.

He got a hit! (they all did)
Here are a few photos from our recent outing to J.J. Jumps for Claire's birthday. Those of you who are virgins to the whole jumping palace birthday party thing, these photos are for you! Alex is having his birthday at the wonderful Pump It Up which is the same idea with mandatory bad pizza. Here is a
shot of Adriana climbing up to meet her brother at the top of a squishy wall. Uncle Paul will be proud to see how see her climbing prowess. Today Pump It Up, tomorrow...the Sierra Nevadas? Who knows. This is one extreme little chica. I accidentally deleted a photo I took of Rafaelito in the obstacle course leading up to this point. Mercifully, he didn't take any photos of me when I got stuck in that same place, but there, I just told you all about it anyways!
Here is our sweet Nanook having navigated the entire course and made it down the slide at the end. Her little grin is followed by, "You come with me, Mommy! I need a grown up!" I read that as, "I need a grown up to dust at the end of the course when I hurtle over the wall and under the tunnel and you get stuck and take forever to catch up to me at the big climbing wall where I might actually need your help."

Here is Alex working on his Egg Drop project for "Egg drop day" in Ms. Eldredge-Burn's class last Thursday. Alex was a little nervous that his egg would break, but he finally settled down and made a great vessel. In the end, his egg remained intact! His teacher's husband made a container from a pineapple. It was quite a smashing spectacle!

Pictures from Halloween night! It was a fun one. The weather was cold, crisp, clear, and most importantly, dry. The kids did great. They collapsed into their beds shortly after 9pm.

Here is dino-boy. Isn't he a sight? Mommy tried to post some other stuff earlier, but it's not clear that it worked. It has been a REALLLLY long time since I did this, I know... Posted by Picasa
Here are the long awaited photos of our favorite two little munchkins in their Halloween costumes, mostly ready, just in time for Henry and Ava's Halloween party this afternoon. Susie has learned how to sew under neighbor Maria's expert tutelage. Thanks, also, to Lisa from the office for the machine!!!

Adriana requested a donut costume this year. Trick or treating will be amusing. Adriana is the SUV, the other kids, well, they're toast.

Dance, little donut girl, dance!!! She is, of course, a chocolate donut with sprinkles. Is there any other kind?

9. Not sure where the number came from, other than Alex's busy little fingers. He wants to help me with the blog. Here I am, stealing some sugar from the sweetest scary dinosaur I know. He is delicious...and very excited about his dinosaur costume. He has been SOOOOO patient with Mommy as she has stumbled through this project. "Is my dinosaur costume done yet, Mom?" Finally, YES!!! And isn't he a sight! Alex says he likes his dinosaur costume because it has a hood. I like it because of who is inside of it. What about you?4 Posted by Picasa
It's been a really long time since we've posted anything...Alex is now a BIG KINDERGARTENER!!! Here he is on Grandparents Day at Alameda, waiting with his class in the hallway to go in and sing for the throngs gathered in the cafeteria. Ms. Gliedman is the pretty teacher in the baseball shirt. She came prepared with fidget toys (and skittles) for the kids to keep busy in the hall. To her right are Craig, Cori, Sebastian, Alex, and Arkain. Alex wants you all to know that Alex A. is standing next to Arkain, and Morgan is next to him, but you can't see them in this picture. Sean and Garrett are also in the class. Posted by Picasa

A few days ago we went camping to a place on the Oregon Coast called Nehalem Bay. It is a beautiful spot. On our first day there it was quite windy on the beach. That didn't stop us from having fun. See the evidence below!

Yoo hoo! I tried to post this earlier, but something bad happened. Anyhow, Maisy, Tallulah, Charlie, Eddie and Cyril rode by on their trikes to wish Adriana a happy 2nd birthday. There was an unfortunate incident with a cake cutter and now no one can find Maisy... Adriana snuck back to the cake when we had all shifted our attention elsewhere and licked the number two. Who says red frosting is awful???
"Peck!" Here are Brennan and Nana back for more..."Bennan not my fend. He my buddy!"
Willa and Hayden are worn out following the festivities...time to decompress with a little World Cup soccer and Ralph screaming "GOL!!!" Hayden ought to get a lot of sleep that way...Sorry, little buddy. Posted by Picasa
