Yoo hoo! I tried to post this earlier, but something bad happened. Anyhow, Maisy, Tallulah, Charlie, Eddie and Cyril rode by on their trikes to wish Adriana a happy 2nd birthday. There was an unfortunate incident with a cake cutter and now no one can find Maisy... Adriana snuck back to the cake when we had all shifted our attention elsewhere and licked the number two. Who says red frosting is awful???
"Peck!" Here are Brennan and Nana back for more..."Bennan not my fend. He my buddy!"
Willa and Hayden are worn out following the festivities...time to decompress with a little World Cup soccer and Ralph screaming "GOL!!!" Hayden ought to get a lot of sleep that way...Sorry, little buddy. Posted by Picasa
It's so much fun to be the center of attention! Adriana (and Alex) are enjoying the melodious outpouring from family and friends during a rousing rendition of "Happy Birthday." Adriana was singing to herself! We LOVE this song!!! Daddy took some time to coach Alex about remembering to give Sissy a chance to blow out the candles on her own. It is SOOOOO hard not to help her. He got to do it, though...She had a tough time and ended up telling him he could help.
Yummy! After Mommy's twice annual disclaimer about the cake frosting and how it looks on the way out (Don't be alarmed!!!), Adriana and Alex dig in to another yummy cake with some ice cream. What a difference a year makes in Nana's post-cake appearance!
I love toxic frosting...Nothing organic in this cake but the eggs!
Nana and Brennan (aka Bennan) share a little love as they say goodbye. We've had a lot of fun! Posted by Picasa
Kermit is basking in the glow of the silly toddler girl from across the street. He just doesn't get this kind of entertainment in his own home any more.
Alex liked having his face painted at Adriana's party...any guesses as to what he will be? "Spins a web, any size...catches thieves, just like flies...lookout! Here comes the Spiderman!"
Nana just pointed to colors and Mommy had to figure out what to do with them..."Dis one! Dis one!" She is my sunshine!
Some of the bigger kids got down and dirty with a round of Hungry Hippos. Ever played this in an old house with sloping floors? Advantage, Willa. Posted by Picasa
