Here are a few photos from our recent outing to J.J. Jumps for Claire's birthday. Those of you who are virgins to the whole jumping palace birthday party thing, these photos are for you! Alex is having his birthday at the wonderful Pump It Up which is the same idea with mandatory bad pizza. Here is a
shot of Adriana climbing up to meet her brother at the top of a squishy wall. Uncle Paul will be proud to see how see her climbing prowess. Today Pump It Up, tomorrow...the Sierra Nevadas? Who knows. This is one extreme little chica. I accidentally deleted a photo I took of Rafaelito in the obstacle course leading up to this point. Mercifully, he didn't take any photos of me when I got stuck in that same place, but there, I just told you all about it anyways!
Here is our sweet Nanook having navigated the entire course and made it down the slide at the end. Her little grin is followed by, "You come with me, Mommy! I need a grown up!" I read that as, "I need a grown up to dust at the end of the course when I hurtle over the wall and under the tunnel and you get stuck and take forever to catch up to me at the big climbing wall where I might actually need your help."
Here is Alex working on his Egg Drop project for "Egg drop day" in Ms. Eldredge-Burn's class last Thursday. Alex was a little nervous that his egg would break, but he finally settled down and made a great vessel. In the end, his egg remained intact! His teacher's husband made a container from a pineapple. It was quite a smashing spectacle!
